An Online Trepanation. Enjoy
Not that anyone is paying attention...
Super fail once again. Sooner or later I'll post some more here. Though I'm also thinking of starting a baking blog.
Back to School
I'm back in school this week. I don't know whether or not this mean that I post more or less here. I'm taking two programming classes, Advanced Java and C++, so maybe that will mean more.
I have made a few neat little scripts which are on my Linux partition so I'll look into posting those later.

Fail, Fail, Fail
Super fail everyones. Again I doubt anyone has ever even seen these here site but I really aught to post a little more often just in case someone does visit. Maybe I'll post some of the nothing-special scripts and little programs I've been writing.
Back on the Air
Not that I expect anyone to have ever seen this blog but I'm writing on it again. I have now pointed my domain name here. It just did not seem worth hosting an actual website anymore.
I hope to customize the layout soon so this will not be 'just another blogspot blog'. I am also trying to think of a less pretentious/more applicable title.
My goal for this blog is to basically have a portfolio of ideas and projects.

Is everyone really that impressionable?
Alright so I've been reading about the upcoming Dark Is Rising movie, I am a huge fan of the books and after watching the trailer it looks like they made just about every wrong choice they could make. It will probably be junk but that is not really what I am writing about.
What really gets me is the response that people have to this and other adaptations. I've seen dozens of posts along the lines of "This movie has ruined a cherished childhood memory" blah, blah, blah. Are people really that impressionable that a bad adaptation of a book that they loved can ruin their experience of the book? If you let every bad version of a book, film, TV show, song etc ruin the original for you have no one to blame but yourself.
I think the real problem is that a whole generation of kids who have never even heard of the books will likely have this as their first impression of the story. There is hope though that some will pick up the books afterwards and find out what a good story it really is.

Bury me deep
I am an unabashed champion of the English language most of the time but I do have some bones to pick. The bone I am picking at today is the word bury. I have a friend who, while being a grammer/language nut himself, always poke fun at me for pronouncing bury with a short u sound, i.e. rhyming with blurry, now I am sorry but I just do not think that the letter u should be pronounced as a short e as so many people are wont to do in bury.
Well there is my little rant for the day. Cheers.

A humble beginning
Hello world. The intention of this blog, as much as anything, is as a method for me to pass the time. It shall consist of whatever I feel needs to be drawn out from my brain. I aim to be perhaps slightly more than someone who posts bad poetry (though there may be some who knows) and self important drivel. I aim for self non-important drivel and hopefully sometimes non-self, important non-drivel.
If you deem this worth further consideration welcome and enjoy yourself.
